Regardless of the season that you're in, and whether your babies are big, small or furry, this time in your life deserves to be captured by something other than your iPhone. Family sessions were born from past wedding couples asking us to document their growing families and now we just can't get enough!
We love creating photos to remind families that in spite of the fact that their car floor is covered in cereal, their laundry room looks like an episode of hoarders and mom and dad are in a permanent state of exhaustion, their love and their story are beautiful.

DESIGN consultation

Once you've booked your date, we’ll schedule your design consultation. This is where we’ll chat about your vision, outfits, location, as well which products you might be interested in.
Whenever we can, we love to plan this ahead of time to ensure we have the best photos for your products.
THE SESSION

Sessions typically last about an hour and a half and when when we can—we love to begin sessions about two hours before sunset. We prefer to shoot when the sun is lower in the sky to avoid harsh shadows and bright sun patches. The first two hours after sunrise is also an ideal time to shoot.

After your session, we’ll sit down together to look at your images. We’ll help you finalize your favorites, as well as design your wall art and heirlooms.

What is the style of your family photography?
The style of photography is best described as a blend of classic portraiture and photo journalism. You will get a combination of images that capture genuine candid moments as well as timeless portraits you can cherish for years.
What type of photography gear do you use?
State of the art, high quality Canon DSLRs. Two cameras on each professional, as well as on and off camera flashes.
Do you offer mini sessions for family photography in NJ?
Yes, we offer mini sessions a few times a year and can add you to our email list so you can sign up as soon as the sessions are announced.
When can I expect to get my final images?
You can expect your galleries to be ready up to 60 days after shooting. All editing is done in house by our New Jersey based photography team.
Can I incorporate siblings and pets into my family session?
Absolutely! We love capturing the sweet moments between siblings and lets be honest our fur babies are our family as well!
What should we wear to our family session?
Upon booking, we will send you a welcome pdf that helps go over wardrobe suggestions as well as tips and tricks to make your session go as smoothly as possible.
